Whether you’re pulling your ATV out of a sticky situation or trying to winch something, you’ll want it to be done quickly. With the Terra Series, the process will be over before you know it, as the line speeds under load are over 9 feet per minute for the 25 and 35 models, and 5.5 feet per minute for the 45 model. All of this power from a small-sized winch weighing 22 pounds in the heaviest version is quite impressive.
The excellent craftsmanship from high-quality materials is not the only benefit of buying one of the Superwinch Terra models. Finding an ideal winch is not an easy task, especially when it comes to weight capacity. Superwinch addressed the issue, and made Terra in three models, each in two variants.
The Model 25 has a weight capacity of 2,500 pounds and comes with either a 50’ x 3/16” wire cable, or a 5’ x 3/16 synthetic rope on the S model.
The Model 35 has a weight capacity of 3,500 pounds and comes with either a 50’ x 3/16” wire cable, or a 5’ x 3/16 synthetic rope on the S model.
The Model 45 has a weight capacity of 4,500 pounds and comes with either a 55’ x ¼” wire cable or a 50’ x ¼” synthetic rope on the S model.
Does this winch work in both directions both in and out via a switch?
Yes the winch powers in or out with the use of the included handlebar mounted switch or with the included remote switch. The winch also has a knob that allows you to free spool the cable out without using the "power out switch".
Is the hand held remote hard wired or can you unplug it when not using it?
You may unplug the remote when not in use, it is detachable!
