With the Husky Round Bar Weight Distribution Hitch with Sway Control, you’ll never have to make compromises when it comes to what you can tow. Built out of heavy-duty steel, the head is designed to reduce the time necessary to set up and to allow for easy access to the hitch ball shank. The outstanding 12,000-pound gross trailer weight rating and the 1,200-pound gross tongue weight are more than enough to fulfill all of your towing needs.
Weight distribution not only plays a factor in raising the maximum towing weight but also provides a more level ride and better braking. In tandem with the dual sway control platform, it greatly stabilizes the trailer and gives you more control, on top of putting less stress on your vehicle.
Past a certain weight limit, every trailer needs to have weight distribution, and if you’re getting sway control as well, the setup will become expensive and complicated. Husky offers an all-in-one solution at a great cost.
Husky offers the best warranty in the business to make sure their customers are not only protected but also aware that they have the highest-quality product. The Round Bar Weight Distribution Hitch with Sway Control comes with a limited lifetime warranty (90 days on commercial use) to ensure you that it’s going to be the last hitch you are ever going to buy.
Does this come with right or left side sway control?
This comes with the right-hand side sway control. The driver's side (left side) would have to be purchased separately.
Can you back up with this attached?
You would need to remove the sway control device prior to backing up and make sure to use a spotter.
Is it bolt on or do you have to drill holes to install it?
The weight distribution hitch is bolt on but you have to drill holes for the anti sway mounts.
Can this be used with any 2" receiver? Or are some receivers built only to handle weight distribution hitches?
As long as your vehicle is rated for the trailer weight you are going to haul then a standard 2 inch hitch is good enough.
